MIDI instruments "dropping" when using Boost 11

I'm using Boost 11 with Sonar PE 8.5.3 on a reasonably fast (Dual Core 2.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM) laptop.  I'm using the internal sound card, WDM drivers, no special equipment.

I'm noticing that when I try to use Boost 11 on the Master Bus on a project with 3 MIDI Soft Synths that 1 of them (a Dimension Pro 1.2 Soft Synth instance) drops out entirely for a handful of notes out of the song.  I don't think it's getting lost in the mix, I believe it's not actually being triggered at all.  During playback, CPU doesn't hit any higher than 28%.

Removing Boost 11 resolves the issue, so the issue does appear to revolve around that.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what might be causing the issue?  I'm definitely prepared to upgrade my audio hardware in the near future (looking at a VS-100 or VS-20), but I'd rather know that to be the issue rather than just blindly assume it's a crap setup.

I appreciate your opinions, and ask any questions that might help reach the answer.  Feel free to bash my relative n00b status as well!

I was able to find a solution to this.

In my case, installing and changing to the ASIO4ALL driver worked, and I no longer experience those dropouts with Boost 11 in place.
