MIDI keyboard ok with X2 ?

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a new  USB MIDI keyboard / controller, and was thinking about the Novation 25 SL MK2
anyone know about it, would it be ok for X2, or anyone any other suggestions in that price range ($500)

Thanks
John

For about the same price you'd get the Roland A-800 Pro, which I'm also using (amongst others).

The A-pro is recognized in Sonar as a control surface, so it has got a functional set-up that you just dial in once with 2 mouse clicks.

Then you got ACT control + transport + standard MIDI stuff + keyboard split + more, all readily set up for you ... plus a fast MIDI link via USB ... I'm quite happy with mine ...

Didn't know that ... but there is also the A-300 PRO which is 32 keys only; apart from that it is the same as the A-800 ... but cheaper
