MIDI map changed!

Using X2 Producer, opened up a project and the MIDI map is different than where I (thought) I had left it.  Several notes are changed -- E3 is consistently changed to D3, G#3 to A.  A few notes in the pattern were consistently moved to a different timing.  Everything else is OK.  As best I can recall, last night I gave a final listen, saved, and closed.

I'm guessing this is user error and not program error, else there would be multiple other complaints and I am not seeing any related threads.  Any suggestions on how I might have caused this -- so I don't painstakingly correct everything then do it again?

Did you let your cat walk over the keyboard?

Seriously, I've not seen this happen ever with any version of Sonar.

Literally, I had this post pulled up, and my cat jumped on my computer table.

    It's like they KNOW!

Have you had any repeat of this mapping problem?

No repeat.  I made corrections, saved and closed, re-opened multiple times -- no repeat of the error.  I just killed my cat to be safe, though.  (J/K, I don't have a cat.  But the timing of those posts is hilarious.)

I had to have accidentally selected a couple of note groupings and moved them inadvertently.  I cannot figure out HOW I could have done that with the specific pattern of what is moved -- but that's the only thing that makes sense to me...

Is there a known misalignment of the MIDI time header in the Piano Roll View and the actuall MIDI map?  It seems it doesn't line up, as I scroll through the project it gets further off -- but when I set a new NOW time, it realigns to that point... worries me that all my timing is going to end up off, but everything seems to be tracking ok...
