MIDI playback question

Hi all,
I'm just starting to venture a little more into MIDI. I'm recording my electronic drums (Roland SPD 20) using Sonar 6PE. What I did, was record each drum pad to it's own MIDI track (snare set to MIDI channel 1, track set to input MIDI channel 1, bass drum channel 2, and so on). I now have 9 MIDI tracks with their respected drum parts. Now, my question is that when I playback the project, how do I get Sonar to play the sounds from my electronic drum's? I do have the MIDI in and out hooked up. The drums are routed through my 8 Pre interface so they dont show up as an output device only the 8 Pre does. I've been reading through the "Sonar Power 6" and have'nt found what I'm looking for. Could someone please inform me on where to look, or maby explain to me what I'm overlooking?

Thanks for your time,
Mike

You should just have to set your midi output (in sonar) on each channel to your 8pre out. Assuming your roland is set up to receive the signal correctly, and the audio outs of the roland are hooked up to your interface, there shouldn't be much else to do.

Mike, also if you have a program like easy drummer or maybee even SD2, you can get them to playback you midi info from your drums, I do that all the time, but in real time. Im sure you can do it after the fact also.
