MIDI section deletions

Hello,
Just purchased Sonar Artist exclusively for the MIDI features. I want to delete sections of midi songs and then "splice" the songs together as one song. Sounds simple, but so far, the ERASE tool works great, but I cannot figure out how to move the separated sections together. In other words, there is a 10 second "gap" (no notes) at the beginning of the song (where I erased) and a one minute section at the end that plays silently after I re-save the midi file.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Wayne

    lasso.
right click and hold = hold down the right mouse button and drag around the tracks you want to select.
when they are all selected grab anyone of them and drag them over to where you want them to start.
    this is my method anyway.

    Thank you Chuck.
I moved the tracks to the start point. That was easy!
What about deleting a section of midi information at the end of the midi song that I ERASED (erase tool). The song now ends (no music) but continues to play through the gray section of erased notes.
    I appreciate your help.
    Best,

go to the last point where you want the song to end (place the cursor in the timeline)
select the tracks using the same "Right click lasso" technique I explained in my first post.
the n click the "S" key. this splits the clips. delete the right half (what ever you don't want)

I tend to split clips at songs end/ instead of erasing. its easier.
