MIDI track randomly skipping bass notes

Folks,

This morning I noticed my MIDI track is randomly skipping bass notes. The pattern is four 1/8 notes followed by three 1/8 notes. The pattern came from converting an audio clip to MIDI using Melodyne but I actually simplified the pattern. Originally I was using 'Bass Engine' from Computer Music but it happens with Z3TA+2_64 and SL-Bass as well. I'm using SONAR Platinum v 23.10.0 Bld 14 [2017.10] -x64. Running Win 10 64-bit with 16 GB RAM and a 3.60 i7 CPU on an Alienware Aurora R6. Just ran commend center to make sure I'm up-to-date. I've got a deadline to deliver this piece of music today so any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

If it were just SI-Bass my first thought would be notes out of range. Since several plug-ins are skipping notes, this usually is an indication the "Prepare Using nnn Milisecond Buffers" setting is to low in Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording. The default is 250. Try 500 or 750. Some have to use even higher settings.

Try up'ing the MIDI prepare buffer from the default to 500

Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording > Prepare Using  500 Milliseconds Buffers.

Yes - agreed on the notes out of range - sorry I didn't mention that in the original post. Thanks for the parameter suggestion "Try 500 or 750. Some have to use even higher settings."
Let me give that a try...... and i'll let you know.

Gentlemen - thank you very much. Setting the Prepare parameter worked @ 1000.
