MIXING A HIP HOP (YOUNG JEEZY TYPE) BEAT IN SONAR 8.5 (Sonar 8.5 Bundle link attached)
CAN SOMEONE MIX MY BEAT FOR ME USING THE SONAR 8.5 PRODUCER EDITION BUNDLE I WILL SEND THEM?? I WOULD LIKE THEM TO USE ONLY THE SONITUS AND/OR BASIC FXs THAT COME WITH SONAR 8.5 PRODUCER EDITION. SAVE THE MIXDOWN AND BUNDLE, THEN RESEND/UPLOAD THE FILE BACK TO ME/FORUM?? http://www.sendspace.com/file/g3bc75

Welcome to the forum! For starters Please, don't shout :o) Is there some particular problem, or are you just unwilling to work and study?
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

I apologize for shouting, lol. I am willing to work/study, but I havent grasped the eq aspect of mixing yet (involving q curves, low pass, hi pass, etc.). I know there is no short-cut, but atleast if I get some help on this track, will help me on others.

load the files (zipped or unzipped) to a file server like Box.com or Sendspace or whatever works for you and post the link or send it by PM.... I'm not a hip hop producer but I'd love to play with it..... there are some folks here who mix hh so they may also wander into the CH and find this. working out of my comfort zone is something I like to do from time to time and if you got the tracks recorded...... hey.... what's the worst that could happen...? The Mayan calendar thing is past, 2013 started OK, the asteroid missed.... we're good as far as I can see.... Any mix I come up with I'll be glad to share the settings I used.

You guys are the hippest. I am not looking to get anyone to do FREE work for me. I am trying to learn eq, compression and mixing in regards to hip hop beats & instrumentals. I will upload the file and post the link on the site immediately. Thanks to all who HAVE/ARE/WILL respond.

Cool. I am trying to upload it to a free file sharing server but obviously its too big (even after compressing it to a zip). I tried Box and SendSpace, but my limit was exceeded. So, I'm trying a site called YourFileLink, but it's still uploading.

I'll give it a crack too. I am using X2A but i can send back stems and give you a log sheet with settings I used. have not mixed a full hip-hop track in years but I need the practice anyway since my son is getting into it.
