MP3 converter sound problem

Hello All, I purchased the mp3 encoder from sonar but find that when I export vocal tracks as mp3 files the sound is not that great.  It's very slighly garbled and not completely clear.  The wave files sound great.  In the past when I have converted wave to mp3 there is no real difference.   Has anyone else had this type of problem.  I'm using the best quality and 160 instead of 128 for the quality.

    I solved the problem,  I just need to use a very high quality such as 224 instead of the usual 128.

    With some types of material, anything under 320kbps is easily distinguishable from a 24-bit, 44.2/48kHz .WAV, especially when you've been listening to the WAV audio for days, recording and mixing it.
