MP3 encoder

good morning everyone, I seem to have lost the MP3 encoder, it was there yesterday, I didn't do anything however today (first thing in the morning) when I went to export a song i'm told to install the encoder. where can I find it?

    You can either buy the license or use one of the many other solutions for creating mp3 files, for example LAME.

    Just search for 'MP3 encoder' on here, There are various options. The 'Search Cakewalk Forums' box at the top of the forum is very useful. It has saved me a lot of time typing already answered questions.

    what's LAME?? no worries, I had it on disk. I bought it ages ago

    Get the Cakewalk's mp3 encoder. It sounds better than LAME and audacity IMHO. 20 backs well spend in my experience.

    If you heard a quality difference between the CW encoder and LAME, it's because different command-line options were used.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
