MP3 sound & sound Card

I am a PC user of Sonar 4 and have "Creative SB Live" for my sound card, although I use a external USB device to transfer acoustic instruments and vocals onto Sonar. I'm having some issues with the sound quality when exporting my songs to MP3. I have all my tracks routed to the master Bus and would route the master bus to my sound card, but when I do that and play the music back it is distorted i.e. slowed down, or sped up. When I route the Master Bus to the external USB device it plays normal but when exported to MP3 format it looses volume. If anyone has a solution for this, I would appreciate your assistance...Thanks Chris

P.S. In the drop down menu where you route your master to your sound card it gives me 5 options ( None, Creative SB live series 1/2, Creative SB live series 3/4, Creative SB live series 5/6, US 122 ) I have tried routing to all the creative SB live options and when I play it back they are disstorted, the "none" option when played back I can hear nothing, and "US 122" plays back as recorded.

Make sure that the Sample Rate/Bit Depth in Sonar and the Sound Blaster match.

    Phrauge:

That sounds rather simple but how I do you control/adjust those settings or find out what they are set at on the soundcard....
