M-Tron Pro now 64 Bit

I just went into my GForce account and found the 64 Bit update for M-Tron Pro is available.

Lets hope they get Minimonsta done soon!

Virtual String Machine is also 64 bit - that's really good for me as I love this but have had issues even with Jbridge.
Just three more to be coded to 64 bit!!!
Once they are all done I will be SO HAPPY as I love all their products - Imposcar Two is fantastic

Downloading now.  I did notice that the update requires the 32bit version to be installed first, and it seems to require specifically that the 2.1.0 version of the 32bit to be used for the 64bit to work.  Here is the comment:

To be installed AFTER the above 32 bit 2.0.1 version has completed and ONLY if you use a 64 bit host.

    The 32bit 2.1.0 version is 3.54gigs.  The 64bit is only  4.5mb.

I have not made the upgrade yet as my new DAW should be dilivered in the next few days so there isn't much point. It looks like the 32 bit version installs the samples and the 32 bit application and then you install the 64 bit application on top.

It seems to par for the course with may developers, you have to install a 32 bit plugin you will never use in order to get the 64 bit one.

I just finished a two hour download of the 32bit 3.54g and tried to run it.  It has an error.  So I now have to redownload the program.

I then tried to run the 64bit just to see if it would install over the previous 32bit version.  Nope; it must have the 2.1.0 32bit installed for the 64bit to install.

Just had the same problem! Now downloading again.
I also did my virtual string machine upgrade and that went without a hitch - did you get Mtron Pro upgrade to download and install OK second time around?

Yeah.  It did install fine the second time.  It tried to install in a different location than the previous 32bit version I had.  It does let you select a location for the 32bit program and then on a subsequent screen lets you select a location for the large library (which I put on my second hard drive where I have samples and libraries located).  Then I installed the 64bit version and it went on without any issues.  In Sonar X2 I just had to tell the plugin manager where the 64bit was located, did a quick scan, and it now recognizes and loads the 64bit M-Tron Pro without any issues.  So, I am pleased to have this in the 64bit domain now---no more bitbridge or jbridge needed.

    Hi Cecelius
My second download worked as well - must have been something a bit funky about the first one - all I can say is HAPPY DAY - I have my Mtron back - not been able to use it properly for some time, so I am really pleased they have started to go 64bit at long last.................now all we need is IK Multimedia to listen and do it!!!!!
