when your posts were in the song forum id like to think i treated you with respect. but once they were moved here you are showing very aggresive behavior patterns. you might fair better by starting another thread in "INSTRUMENTS". no one's going to (what you might feel"walk") on your posts there. but then again,there might not be much traffic down there either. this to me is typical coffee house conversation and nothing out of the ordinary. i dont see the harm other than maybe going off topic a bit. Yea the internet is filled with all types of people who feel they can say anything to anyone and never get hurt by doing whatever it is their doing to other people .
Some love messing around with other people feelings and could care less who it is their trashing all the time , I'm not going to kill myself over them but there are some who do alittle robe hanging and end their life over what it was the BULLY said to them .
When I started this post telling other people who I know play the guitar and most of them play very well on this forum I was hoping to get some postive feedback . After all I don't know dittly Squat about shopping for a great learning guitar , if you don't know musch about the instrument then feel free to ask RIGHT ! Well thats the way its suppost to work but in my case it ends up being a free for all KILL !!!
Instead a few started making fun of me and my choices , why I don't know because its me most likey .
Not saying all of you , Scotty was nice , Chuck was nice and a few others had some nice things to say about what it was I wanted to buy .
Yes I know I posted three different guitars and going round and round trying to make that final and hopefully good choice knowing I'm stuck with that expensive purchased after they take my money this friday .
Well it so happen I was able to come up with the money to buy what I feel is a very decent guitar for the money and on sale at SweetWater , I sort went way over what I had planned on spending but hopefully it will serve me well over the next two to five years .
This guitar has both electric Les Paul type sounds and acoustic sounds so for a guitar for the price I'm paying for it I feel its a great deal , I think I made a good purchased atlease I hope I did .
Ok enough said , I made my PICK , ITS FINAL and who gives a hoot ! Beagle says right now he talking , ok I know hes on his Texas horse ready to ride in with all guns firing aimed at me again ! LOL

I hope you enjoy your new guitar. I know what it's like to be excited about a new piece of gear. When you have some songs ready to post, I'm sure the folks in the Songs forum will give you some good feedback. The majority of comments I've read there seem very helpful and encouraging.
If you have a personal beef with someone, take it up with the moderators. They're the only ones who can do something about it. If you don't want to read posts by certain people, just block them and the problem is solved.

Yes but for me I love that Natural wood so I'm going with that instead of Sunburst or Read or blue . Whats the best product to clean a rosewood fret board to keep it looking new? Heres the infomation on the guitar I picked out , NATURAL and its 7lbs 11 Oz's in total weight . I think your going to like that Epi 339 Night Fox. I tried out a couple of them up at GC and I thought they played and sounded pretty good. Like Bub, I like the Sheraton's too, but I wanted something with a different vibe than my Gibby LP, so I went for the Epi 335 Dot. The Dot is more of a hollow body than the Sheraton. I believe the Sheraton has a maple center block.
I really like the way the Dot plays. I had a professional set up done on it right away, even though it sounded great right out of the box. I had Gibson pick ups (57's) left over from another guitar sale, so I installed them in the Epi and now it is a REALLY great little rig. I find myself playing it way more than the LP.
The LP has a grittier flavor to it and the Dot a mellower sound. Different flavors man.

If you're really enthusiastic about playing guitar then to be honest it doesn't really matter what guitar you have, as long as it's basically playable. I started out with the biggest heap of junk, a CSL Blazer (some cheap Japanese model that came with a practice amp that sounded like a bee with a chainsaw in a tobacco tin) and I rocked on that mo'fo for at least a year. It had stupidly high action yet within that year I'd learned most of the guitar solo's off of Kill Em All and a lot of Zeppelin. Of course I was chuffed to bits when I got hold of a better guitar but I loved playing guitar so much that really anything would've done.

Thanks I think I made the right choice , it sounded nice when the sales guitar guy played it for me . Will your play acoustic sounds too or is it all electroic in sound ? That was one thing that really hooked me in , that plus the over all tone I sustain it has a built in tuner on one of the pickups . The other thing that I liked it has its own MIDI out plug jack where all you have to do is plug from the guitar straight into your computer & DAW for recording so that was really COOL !

Yea back in the mid 90's I bought a cheap acoustic guitar from a music store and hated it after months of trying to play it thinking I would get used to playing it . It was too unplayable , so I gave up and said if I ever buy another one its going to be a decent electric not a acoustic because electric guitar are said to be easy on your fingers when playing chords and tend to be easier to play . As for guns I gave up my M-16 back in 1972 when I left Viet Nam for the States, too many guns in the wrong hands today and thats scary !

Thats very much true its not the guitar its the person playing that is important ! You can own the best guitar in the world but if you don't have the passion and skills to play great then you have wasted your money . The most important thing is it has to be playable and it has to stay in tune or else you'll lose interest in learning how to play a guitar . I think in a year or two I will do fine playing it , it should last me a lifetime I hope ! After that recent heart attack on Christmas day last year the guitar my outlast me, if I do kick the bucket then my step grand kids will own some nice music gear .
