Mackie MCU &. Bheringer BCF 2000

Silly question probably. First off I have ample USB ports available. 2ndarily I am exploring Azslows software (Go Deep ! :)). 3rdly, using the normal MCU interface with SPlat normal and routinely.

Curious question : can the MCU AND the Bheringer be used simultaneously ? For those that wonder why and I'm weird like this ... I wonder why not

Best Regards

Bill-

My reply is theoretical, since I do not have the devices.

Mackie Controller plug-in use a "trick" to support XT and C4. Some data are global. In case you instantiate it as 2 "Mackie Control"s (for MCU and BCF) that can potentially produce some glitches. At the same time, in case you can convince BCF to be "XT" and use XT incarnation of Mackie plug-in (the plug-in is physically the same), that should work.

Each instance of AZC is independent by default (but can be "chained"). So far I have no response either MCU preset of AZC really works with MCU (or BCF) and if yes, what is working and what is not. The intention was to mimic complete Mackie plug-in operations. But that is impossible to check without such device.

    Alek,

Thank you kindly for your response.  I downloaded your AZC and *all* documentation today, but have not yet installed it - I plan on doing that tomorrow after Church.  I will utilize the Mackie pre-set and report back to you. Everything I have read thus far regarding your efforts, both here in your 'go deeper' thread and at your www.azslow.com forum has me very very intrigued - it's like a breath of fresh air. (and I like you humor also - a bit 'off the wall' like mine :))

Again, thank you for your efforts and I will port you with an update at azslow.com

    Best Regards,
