Per our conversation, let's try resetting, then configuring your Mackie Universal fresh by trying the following steps:
1) Close SONAR if it's open. Open the Run Command- this can be done on your desktop screen by holding down the ‘windows’ key and pressing ‘r’ on your keyboard
2) At the prompt type the following:
%appdata%\Cakewalk
3) Navigate to your SONAR folder.
4) Locate and delete the file named TTSSEQ or TTSSEQ.ini, which are your MIDI driver settings.
5) Also delete the file named "
ctrlsurface.dat". Once deleted, close out of here and open SONAR.
6) Enable all your MIDI drivers if prompted; go to Edit > Preferences > Devices (under MIDI) and hit Apply.
7) Go to Control Surfaces and reconfigure your Mackie.
- For Controller/Surface type, select "Mackie Control."
- For Input and Output, select the appropriate Mackie Options
- Click OK, then hit Apply and Close in Preferences.
