    Kev,

this mix works. It jumps right out of my speakers.
I love the madness of this track. I'ts got a kind of Monty Python vibe to it:   ".... and now for something compleeeeeetly different"

    Keep up the good work!

    Hi !
Yep its a bit more on the money this mix. I cross referenced other mixes (which I don't normally do) and it did give me something to shot for.I'm much happier with this mix too !
Python is one of my all time favs. Really cool you hear that kind of vibe in it :)
    Thanks for listening,

This sounds really cool. Creepy, like Halloween TV special music, but fun in the same way. Yes the mix does jump right out at me, very loud and clear and transparent. How are you doing that? Great stuff, man.

    Hey !
Thats good the mix works !! Im not an expert but I found EQ and compression to be the main tools for loudness and clarity.I was pretty ruthless at scoping out the mids on this mix which I did on the master too - it seems to make the bass fatter and brings out the highs some more. I got this idea from reading an article on the Soundonsound forum, where they talk about how we perceive the mids to be louder than the highs and the lows due to the way we hear sound. So it figures from that (I think) that if we cut the mids somewhat,it leaves more room for the bass and highs.Anyway good to hear the mix translates well :-)

Cool idea about the mids. I may experiment with that some. My mixes usually come out pretty dense, with not much breathing space. There's a genre of jangly, alt-y, kinda low-fi music that sounds like this and maybe I'm just partial to it, but when I hear a spacious mix I get jealous.

Nice and creative sound for sure. Lots of good things happening. Different is a good thing, so I really enjoyed this for the other mixes. Very nicely done, Id leave it alone and call it good.
