Mad drums playing on export

I am attempting to mix down a song. When i play it in sonar - it sounds fine. But when i listen back to the mixed down version, there are some random mad drums playing on it for about two bars! Any ideas?

just a wild guess but check that you are not exporting some muted or bypassed bus or track. Also, if the drums are a Virtual drum program freeze the drums first before exporting and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you Reginald. the culprit was a hi hat track. There was quite a few hi hat clips - once I bound them all to a single clip, I could see the mad drums in the piano roll view. Thanks for your help.
