Magical track duplication!

I found that one of my projects was currently unusable, with CPU pegged at 60% as soon as I opened it, even though it wasn't playing. I couldn't work out why, until I scrolled down disabling effects bins one by one to see if I could reduce the CPU load - when I reached what should have been the last track I noticed that all my tracks have somehow become duplicated, about 15 times over!

Has anybody seen anything this strange before? Or know what causes it?

I've never seen that happen. Did you copy or clone any tracks in that project?

Not that I know of - but I do know that if I did, I certainly didn't do it 15 times!

Yeah, I see your point. I only mention it because I can't think of any other way that could have happened. But you wouldn't have had to do it 15 times. If you did it once with 15 repetitions it would have the same result.
