Magix Samplitude Independence Pro Problem

Hi,
 
I bought the Samplitude Pro X suite and I am trying to open Independence Pro in SPLAT.  When I inset the instrument, I get a popup to enter the serial number for Independence Pro Library.  I entered the serial Number for the Samplitude Pro X3 Suite but it wont accept it.  The original email confirmation had serial numbers for Pro X3, SpectraLayers Pro 4, SOUND FORGE Pro 11,iZotope Mastering & Repair Suite, Birdline Platinum Pack V.6.0, and celemony essentials.  
 
There is nothing for the Independence Pro Library.  Can anyone tell me how I can get the serial number for this?

    I had the same problem; so I checked the Magix site and saw that the Independence Pro version was listed with an asterisks (*) and the note said that the version included in the Samplitude Suite is locked to use within Samplitude.  This means that it cannot be used in its standalone version or used in other DAWS.   
     
    Strangely, the installation included standalone .exe's but when I launched the standalone, it kept asking for a serial number.

    It would be a separate purchase. As noted above, Independence Pro in the X3 Suite bundle is locked to Samplitude.

    Hi All,
    As an extension of Bodhi65's original question..........Given I bought the Magix Samplitude
    suite (incl: Independence ...and I am quite impressed with it )
    And given recent events in regards Cakewalk's revival..........If i do purchase the Independence software suite (ie: to use with Cakewalk Sonar Or whatever it may be named ) ... (currently $65 USD) ......will such software also be able utilize the same 70Gb image library as was  bundled with Samplitude/Independence OR is that library also restricted in some way?
    in other words...........I don't want to have to repurchase the library..........OR indeed have to download the thing.....Its enormous and takes forever :(
    Anyone had any experience with this?
    Would be most appreciative of a 'Heads Up' before I move .

    The dependence library is in a format that lets only the Independence Program access the files. As was stated if you get Independence as part of the Samplitude Suite then it’s locked to Samplitude.

    If it’s a standalone purchase as you say for $65 then it’s likely that it will use an already installed library but I’d be asking the folks over at Magix. They have a very prompt support team and there may already be FAQs covering the subject or check the forum there.

    You have to buy second license to use Independence in Sonar. $330... Sometimes Magix sells it with 50% discount if you have X3 Suite.

    Most sample libraries bundled with an instrument are locked to the sampler instrument that they come with.   That is just copy protection for their samples.  You are not buying the samples, just the right to use them.
     
    Unlocking the instrument from the host is a different issue, and is usually accomplished by upgrading to an unlocked version and obtaining an unlock code.

    DAW: CbB; Sonar Platinum, and others ...
