Magix Sound Forge in Sonar tool menu?

Hi,
Anyone have any luck getting the Magix Sound Forge (12) to integrate into the Sonar/Cakewalk Tool menu?
*I know of the add values to registry method from earlier versions of Sound Forge but don't know if the new one will work.
Anyone?
Thanks!
Jono

After a new PC build I went to Win 10 Pro and reinstalled Splat and of course had to redo the regedit for Sound forge. I have SF Pro 11. Works great.
The regedit hack works fine here.
BTW, all it does is call the exe to launch so shouldn't matter what version of Sound forge you have.

It puts in the menu for both Splat and CWbyBL for me..........Do you need the steps?

Thanks! I guess the main question is whether the same method (which I have the steps for SF , thanks) will work with Sound Forge 12 by Magix? Different folders etc.

I'm a big fan of Wave editors. Sound Forge used to be Sony and I still have a older copy that came with a Sony digital Turntable. Amazingly simple to rip LP into MP3 ( or wave) Cleans things up with the click of a button.

I use Wave Lab for all my Mastering, I bought Elements for only $99 all I really need.
I used to have it in my Tool Menu list but haven't added it to CbB yet. I will on the day I need to clean up an audio track. Give you the power of a Wave editor without leaving your DAW.  One of the better features they added to Cakewalk if you ask me. Even Cubase doesn't have the power of Wave Lab built in.

I use Gold Wave for my batch converting of Wave to MP3's.
Check it out, it's free to try 100% and only $50 for lifetime. http://www.goldwave.ca/

Another great free wave editor is Acon- Acoustica 6 Basic. https://acondigital.com/downloads/
I use this instead of Wave lab on my laptop as otherwise I need to swap out my stupid iLock dongle.
Scan down the page to Older versions.

The link in that thread was old. The old tool editor should work for CbB though. I updated the post with new CbB link. The current tool editor is here. Instead of using direct links, a better way to get current versions my stuff is here.

I forgot about that editor! So good to have SoundForge 11 back and integrated - I missed it! Great tool from Scook.

Thanks so much! (great tool Scook!)
It worked for Magix sound forge 12, now in the sonar tool menu.
I did it with wave lab as well... awesome!
PS. The new Sound Forge has some nice new features, still trying to make it act like the old version but finding new things along the way. We all get so used to the way things work, always wondering why they need to change. Anyhow, so far so good.

    Thanks again!

    Hello again,
I've successfully added my editors into the Sonar utilities menu using Scooks tool...
All are working correctly except: iZotope RX, when I bring a clip from Sonar into RX, it's says there's a problem with the session data folder. The other editors like Sound Forge don't ask about folders.

Does RX want me to set it to use the audio folder from my particular Sonar session? Or a new audio folder?
    Thanks
    Jono
