Magnet and Steel Cover

This is a cover I did a couple years ago. All with Sonar. This is a recent remix, I swapped the drums out using AD2.

I'd love to hear some feedback on the sound and mix etc.
Thanks.

Don't know the song, but this sounds very nice. I would say raise the lead vocal a touch, but it does have a pleasing late '60's sound with it placed like that. Vocals are harmonies are very good.

I used to like this song a lot back in the day.  As I recall it, this is a good cover of the original.

I can't quite put my finger on it but this sounds a tiny bit stiffer than the original. I think it might be the hard piano chords in the prechorus/chorus section.  Loved the guitars muted, arpaggiated,  and stopped... really nice. That's faithful to the original.

The harmonies sound good.... some pitch correction would be appropriate in a few places.... in the solo especially.

Yes, I would bring up the vocals a bit, and probably let the instruments tag a short instrumental outtro... perhaps the octave low guitar, like in the solo with an ending that slowed down in the last measure.

All in all, this is a fine job on the cover song and you have done justice to the original groove. There's a lot to like about this and I do like this version.

Nice cover!  I remember the song, and this version is nicely done.

Mix-wise I think the piano chords might be hitting a little hard and covering the vocals a bit.

good job!! I think I'd pull the bvox in the chorus up a tad and push back the lil chime....

Nice job, I would definitely push the BVOX forward during the Chorus and maybe add a little chorus/flange to make them a little bigger during the Chorus.  The "oohhs" during the verses are OK level wise.

Couple spots could use some pitch correction but overall really good job.
