"Make Me Smile" (Chicago acoustic cover )

I can't post a proper link, but if you want to you can add the following to the end of any url at youtube and hear it, and for the record, I'm not Terry Kath or anything, so don't expect me to be anywhere near that good.

It's just a direct to stereo 2-track, me and the guitar along with a looper so I could play a solo.

Well now they've stripped out the link. Apparently I have to be here three days before I can post one. It would have been nice if they had told me that before I posted. Anyway, you should be able to get there with just the end of the YT url I've posted now.

To the person who PM'd me trying to help, it seems I also cannot return you PM until I've been here three days.

Actually, I used to come here a few years ago but can't remember my log-in info and had to take out a new account. Oh well, I guess I'll be back in a couple of days.

    Cheer up, Charlie!

I'll give your tune a spin when you get it legit and linked. That's a cool song choice.

I don't give "scathing" reviews. I give honest ones, something no one with any talent has a problem with.

I simply thought our band version was better than my solo version.

I'm completely confident that I can count on your dishonest review of it though since nearly everything said in this forum is an utter lie.

I can't stand Chicago, don't know the song and won't bother getting familiar with it.  The band sounds great together - although the site of horns and guitars together just makes me want to vomit, ha ha.  Seriously though, obviously very well done.

Correct.  This forum is also for people without any talent whatsoever.  We welcome them all.  This is that one hole in the universe where humbled offerings from humble hobbyists are humbly reviewed.

Most of the folks here have little use for a Captain Obvious to point at their faults and tell them how it's good for them to know they suck.

We tend to be easier on folks, while still being honest, since we are rarely good judges of our own creations and would seem to miss the point to be an ass about it.

Sounds like Chicago featuring Robert Clayton Thomas.    Overall... good performance.

Everyone seems into it too...   except maybe the guy holding the thinline acoustic and singing harmony, he seems a little bored.
