Make Your Own SFZ Files!

You know what the hardest thing to do is, if you want to make your own MIDI instruments or SFZ files? That's recording all the samples, in my opinion. Well the good old boys at the Philharmonic Orchestra have taken the liberty of doing it themselves, with professional instruments and musicians. Check out post from my blog for more info:

Very cool that they did that... BUT still a huge amount of work making your own audio files for a sampler....IMHO.

Buying GPO or Kontakt is so much easier and to me...cheaper in the long run, when you consider the learning curve and time to actually do the work....

Haha very true, Guitarhacker. I admit that much of my budget is spent on DSF and the like.

samples are too low sample rate IMHO and the filenames aren't meaningful.. so it makes a headache to map them
