Making MIDI not change with tempo?

Hi folks,
Bit of an interesting question here. I'm working on a project comprised of both audio and MIDI and I've realized that my project tempo is a bit off from the actual performances. The problem now is that if I change the tempo of the project it causes different things to happen to the audio and MIDI clips. The audio clips are unaffected, that is, they play exactly as they did before I change tempo. The problem is that the MIDI clips change their timing such that they are no longer synced to the audio.

Of course I understand that this behavior is totally expected given the nature of MIDI events, but I'm wondering if anyone has any good way to circumvent it for the purpose of keeping everything in sync. Is there something I can do to the MIDI clips to make them stay sync'd up?

Thanks,
Dean

You may want to use Process Length or Process Fit to Time with Stretch Audio checked rather than changing the Tempo, which as you note will only affect MIDI. If the tempo of the recording is not what it was in the performance, that suggests the possibility of a sample rate mismatch somewhere which will also affect the pitch.
