Making a Quick Audio Copy

I asked this a long time ago, but possibly my question was not clear: What is the quickest way to make an audio copy of a track I am working on that still has MIDI instruments, soft synths, etc.? Well, it turns out this is very easy: when you Export to Audio, just check the Include Live Input box and all your MIDI instruments and virtual instruments will be included in the WAV or MP3 (assuming they are routed to an audio track—if they weren't, you wouldn't be hearing them anyway). This is a quick way to give a singer a copy of a track to work with, or stick something on your iPod so you can think about the arrangement before taking time to record all the MIDI to audio. (I always record to audio eventually in case my synths catch on fire or blow up.)

I'm always exporting audio takes and then doing my mastering thing to them to see what they will sound like.

You only need to check this box if you're adding "live" music to your export.

To make sure everything in your mix is included in your export, either select ALL (ctrl + a) or select NONE (ctrl + shift + a)

    Both ways work.
