Making a sound longer

Hi, I don't know if the subject is right, and I didn't knew for what to look for, but here's my doubt.

Lets say I have a full guitar accord, but the player "put the hands on the strings and stops the sound earlier" (sorry, I don't know how to say it in english), like on the end of a song, if por example, I stop before I should.
How can I make a sound a little longer, let's say 1 second more sustain? there's some easy way?

Hope you can understand what I mean.
Thank You!

select the clip and hit cntrl and you'll see a yellow bar at the right side of the clip. drag it over a little (a second's worth). Best to isolate one note as it's own clip.

Thanks Timidi that worked and will be very usefu.

Taking a change using the same topic, but on Sonar X1, I can't make my piano roll makes a sound when I click on the piano on the left, on earlier versions that worked. If I put a note and press play i get the sound. Any thoughts?

    Thank You!

    1. Make sure the Midi track you're trying to trigger has got Input Echo enabled
    2. Make sure the Midi channel numbers are consistent between synth & piano roll
    3. You do have a soft synth inserted yes?
    4. Make sure the associated audio track is routed properly to your main outs, via busses where appropriate
