    Hi perissinotti,

In order to answer this question in a helpful manner (which I may not be able to do!), more information is necessary about what you are planning to do. For example, is this for drums? Are the wave recording samples from a single instrument? If so, do you plan to use ranges? If so, do you have velocity layers? (That is, do you have different "volumes" for each note?) How many samples are you going to be loading for an "instrument" and what is the format of the sample? Are you planning to use MIDI? Do you plan to play the MIDI? If so, with a keyboard? With a drum pad? Or do you plan to render MIDI data?

There are a lot more questions, but if you could describe what it is you plan to do, people will be able to answer your question in a far more helpful manner.

    Regards and good luck,
    Dave Clark

This will be for midi keyboard
some wave recording are from a single instrument....ex. sax or trumpet....so i would like to record each note if possible instead of just a C note and having the computer just change the speed of the note to change the pitch...some are to midi trigger different sound affects ex. sirens, waterfall
i would like to play the midi....i already have Kontakt 2 and V-stack

Best, um, most would I guess agree with ew. I like to use Absynth and Reaktor together. Reaktor can create nearly any sound, and a "base" sound is nothing to Reaktor. Take that wav into Abby, and create a layer of sound, do it again, then do it again, and you have a glo (patch) for Abby. Once that is done, build your own custom effect in Reaktor, just for that patch...
