Manikins (2016 Collection)

Manikins is the first tune I put together in 2016. It is a bookend tune that is done using acoustic instruments. It's bookend mate is Titled "Puppets", which is the rock version. I will post "Puppets" next. Of the 2, I seem to like this one the most.

Manikins features vocals, acoustic guitar, flute, piano, drum.

Well thank you in advance and I hope you enjoy my free art.

Lyrics:

Oh I don't think you know .
And I just don't believe your prime time puppet show.
Oh why can't you feel the pain and fear.
It's like you don't care.
Did you lose your soul somewhere.
Oh you always seem to have the time
To watch the circus, eat your bread, and drink your wine.
Oh please don't explain.
How you followed every single line of someone's tragic play.

I think you need five posts or more before you can post links.

    5 posts?
Didn't see that in that handbook. Care to explain or point to where I can review this rule? Would be a good idea to make sure people know this before taking the time to post material or considering to, don't you think?

Yep I have a song in the forum - scroll down a bit.

No, you cannot delete, you just need to let it die a natural death :)

So, what would you suggest I do about this post?
Should I edit this one (i.e. replace the removed links), or should I post a new thread?

Sometimes, if new peeps give us enough clues as to where they put their stuff, one of the regulars will post the link for you, but it looks like you are there now.

Have fun... Look forward to listening to your stuff

    Daryl1968 & Synkrotron.
Ok! I'm official now. I think I'll do as you said Daryl, and edit the original. You have both been very nice and helpful and was very much appreciated. I think I'm going to like it here, as what I've heard so far indicates there is some good musical talent and recording skills in this forum. I should have done this earlier on. Well, off to my re-editing tasks.

    Thanks,
    Dean

I really like this Dean - a good song well performed and recorded.
Just a heads up - some people on the forum are wary of playing stuff from a google drive account. Soundcloud or similar will get you more listens

I really enjoyed Manikins Dean. I agree with Daryl, a good song here and is well performed and recorded.

Get this onto SoundCloud too, now that you have an account there...
