Map AD2 MIDI drum beats to play on Motif XF

Greetings to all - I'd like to find an idea to the easiest way to map drums from AD2 through Sonar Platinum to play my Motif XF drum voices.  Sequencing on the Motif XF is the easiest way for me to play live, but AD2 is audio.  My workflow is to sequence from AD2 to Sonar, then play the voices in the XF.  The mapping for the XF is somewhat General MIDI, but lots of sounds are still askew when the GM map is used to convert AD2 to the XF GM map.  It may be that I have to get really inventive and map it myself the old-fashioned way.  I appreciate anyone's expertise in this in advance!
