Marker View and Piano Roll Will Not Hold if Undocked???

Hopefully I've phrased the Subject correctly:

I'm using a two-monitor setup, with Track View on one side, and "undocked" tabs Console view/Tempo/Markers/Piano Roll (etc.) together on the other monitor.  I'm fully up-to-date on Platinum, and last night noticed that whenever I open a project the Marker View is consistently missing from the project (and has to be reopened, which then appears on the second monitor with the other tabbed views).  This continued to occur even after I re-added the Marker view to a project, then saved the layout as a "Lens", closed the project and re-opened it (shouldn't that help?).  100% reproducible on every project I opened (approx. 8).

I then noticed that the same thing was happening with the Piano Roll, but NOT the Console view tab or Tempo map one.  Others might be affected but the views listed here are the ones I use consistently.

Any thoughts?

Steve

    Sounds like a screenset/lenses issue

I'm not fully conversant with Lenses yet, but try unlocking your current screenset, then get your desktop  set up the way you want before saving

Jonesey:  Thanks for writing.  To my knowledge I'm not using any screenset but when I'm back in the studio will look into that.

But my understanding (and this is for the forum as well) is that a Lens setting (such as having the Markers view tabbed as part of the "undocked" views on the 2nd monitor) would 'override' any screenset.  True??

    Thanks to all,
