Markers

Sorry for the newb question...

On a project that already has the markers laid out with chord changes etc... and after recording a few clips, I cut and paste a clip in another location on the same track. I noticed that the marker info (chord changes) also get pasted at top doubling up on whatever is already there making it look like a mess.

Is there a way to only paste a clip without duplicating the marker info?

The Copy dialog has an option to include markers. When unchecked the markers are not included in the copy buffer.
The Paste Special dialog has an option to include markers when pasting. When unchecked markers in the copy buffer will not get pasted into the project.
