Maserati or Kramer?

If you had to pick between the two
which would you pick...

Bare in mind that Kramer only has 5 plugs, while Maserati NOW has 7 - including the new GROUP plug...

Kramer I think for more Classic Rock stuff...
Maserati for more current Pop stuff..

This I'm aware of....

But any plug can be used in any genre if done well..

Thoughts..

I'd much rather have CLA...but that's $176 more right now....

Both the Maserati and Kramer sets are $199 with a voucher....

JJP and CLA are $375 and no voucher..

If I was choosing between Maserati and Kramer...as much as I like Eddie's stuff...I'd go with Tony Maserati's package.

I love both the CLA and the JJP packages with the JJP getting a slight (and more recent) edge.

They are all different and work for different genres although CLA and JJP are the closest IMHO.

You are correct in your assumption that Kramer is more "old school rock" and Maserati is more "modern R&B".  And you are also correct in that Maz gives you more plugs.  And, Maz also gives you a bunch of presets to work from and Kramer doesn't.

My advice is still wait for the JJP or the CLA to go on sale.  YMMV.

Where you come from is gone...where you thought you were goin to weren't never there...and where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

You will probably like the Maserati better, as it has more presets and modules. The Kramer set is for those who want three models of old time bands: Zep, Hendrix and The Stones.

That's the way I went....I got Maserati for $82.....and will get Kramer for the same price...

Hopefully CLA and JJP will go on sale and I'll complete the set....

For $82 you have to get both. I paid in the hundreds for each. That is a no brainer price.

That's what I thought also....when they list for $500 and normally sell for $375, and I can get them for $82......BUY!  LOL

    Where's the $82 sale? Thanks.

It was on sale last month for $199.....and if you bought a bundle from a select group of bundles
you got a Waves Voucher for $200.

I ended up getting Maserati at Audio Deluxe for $82 with the Voucher!!!

I didn't end up getting Kramer.....ran out of funds...
But it worked out to my advantage because, with the voucher I had
from Maserati I ended up getting Waves Gold bundle for $97!!!

    NOW that's a smokin' deal!!!

Ok, yeah, i remember seeing that. Couldn't swing the initial 200. Picked up Kramer a few months ago for 159, sounds great, can be a glutton tho.

Yes, that is one thing I've noticed about the Waves V9 plugs - they are a bit "heavy" on the CPU's

But, they are really nice plugs....
