Mass edit midi notes in X2

Likely a novice question, but I can't quickly find a simple way to mass edit one midi note (e.g. G#3) to another (G#1) in a track. Any guidance is appreciated.

In the Piano Roll View, click on the piano keyboard to select all of one key, then shift-drag one of the selected notes to the new key.

If you want edit G#3 to another in the one midi track, open the pianoroll for midi you want edit, and select key on the left side and this select all midi notes for midi track. You can move midi notes by mouse drag, arrows on keyboard (up and down) or press key T and transpose. If you want edit note for all midi in your track, select all midi tracks you want edit and press key F - it open all selected midi tracks in pianoroll. Then apply what i write before.

Thanks scook and obloha, but none of those seem to work.

Selecting the key in the piano roll does select the row of notes, but dragging leaves theme right where they were. The arrow keys did nothing, and 'T' opened a track automation lane.

I have a hunch (just a hunch) that there is a configuration option out of whack, but I have no idea what or where to look.

Arrrrgh. Just noticed you grab the note and not the keyboard graphic (I would have designed it the other way around). Dragged it just fine. Thanks again for all your help.

Is it possible the clip has "Lock Data" set? There will be a blue or white lock icon in the top left of the clip in the track view. If this is the case, right-click the clip in the track view and uncheck Clip Lock > Lock Data
