Massive crackling on E-MU soundcard

I realize this is not exactly the best forum to post on, but I've somewhat run out of options, and hope I may get lucky with some help from some people, that may have had similar problems. I own a 1212m E-MU soundcard, which for the most part works fine. When I use the ASIO drivers in Sonar, everything is jiggy. However, recently a USB mic broke, and I decided to use my studio mic to record the audio for my graphic design tutorials. I use Fraps to screencapture these video tutorials. Now, Fraps doesn't have ASIO, just good ol' "Wave (E-MU DSP)", which is fine, I can get audio to that. However, this is the problem: http://youtu.be/a4RMCoooQUE That's the sound I get whenever I get Patchmix set up to send out audio to the normal windows recording outputs, which any normal program can actually get. If you have any clever plans, please let me know! (NOTE: I can't simply record the audio in Sonar, since I quite frequently stop the recording in Fraps, and lining up the audio would be absolute hell) I hope that a "THANK YOU" in advance will give me some good luck!
