Master as Default Buss

Is there a global setting for setting the master as the default bus? It seems each new project forgets to set this. And if it forgets, is there a handy way to grab a bunch of tracks and change them all with one click? thx

Right click on it and set as the default.

Yeah, I've done that, but must one do that for each new project?

If you start each project from a template, open that template > set the master as default > overwrite the template. Now every time you start a project it is set.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

K, thanks. Also, is there a way to set a group of tracks to the master, other than doing them one at a time? I know I've done this, but can't remember how.

Select the tracks (or none if you want to do all tracks) and then hold the ctrl key while setting the output buss on one. It'll change all the tracks then.

It's the new 'quick group' - we won't get started on that though.......
