Lawrence, I've always enjoyed your posts here. Great songs all the time that are right up my alley. Here's my take for what it's worth.

The first thing I hear is a bit too much compression or limiting.

Next, you're lacking good low end. Like you have no kick in the music. Quite bright. Your acoustic guitars have the chance to be incredible...but they are very metalic sounding in the highs. Like they could use some more body.

Your lead vocals sound very mono and small. Like they are so centered...they don't breathe enough or expand outwards. You also have so much going on here sharing like frequencies, there is some masking going on when all your instrumentation hits. Things get lost in a sea of masking and compression to my ears at times. Like it's one big sonic strike that is lacking individual identity...if that makes sense? The song and performances are stellar as usual from you. But the mix lacks impact and dynamics to my ears as well as good lows and mids. It's very crispy in areas where in my opinion, it shouldn't be.

I hope this helps a bit and doesn't offend you. I really love your stuff man and have the utmost respect for you. I just think the mix needs a bit more work in some areas. :)

Like the song, great performances from all!  Like Danny said, needs some low end.  My first mix thought is that it was mixed by the rythm guitar guy.  It seems a little in your face while everything else seems a little buried.

Aside from Mr. Danzi's (always appropriate) technical comments - I think the vocal level on the first three or four lines needs to come up a bit (volume wise).   It may be that they are just lost in the soundscape, but I just can't hear them as well as I can in the rest of the mix.
