Matrix and velocity

Hi all,

since I have installed X1 I started to play with Matrix View and I have to say I really love it. It will probably become a very important tool for my compositions, already replacing Beatscape (I use the Beatscape content in the Matrix and I sync the event with other stuff, really cool).
I would like to be able to control the velocity of the MIDI loops sent to the instruments, so for example I could control the velocity of the drum loops with a MIDI pedal. I have tried to set a Velocity midi plugin in the instrument MIDI channel but I guess the MIDI signal from the Matrix doesn't go thru that. Any workaround?
