M-audio BX8

Hey all, one of my BX8 monitors has given up on me, it has blown the toroidal transformer. Anybody know where I could get one from? I emailed M-audio but no reply, I guess theyre busy working on vista drivers, yeah right lol

One of mine crapped out a while back also, I brought it to a car audio repair shop cuz my Brother in law told me he knew some one who could fix it, he wound up calling M-Audio to order the part. 2 transistors had burnt out, and they told him they could only send the entire part for 100 dollars. I said I paid 150 for it, might as well buy a new one. So...unless you can find a used one at EBAY or GC you might be out of luck.

Call M-Audio or look up the local authorized service center to have it serviced. You don't want to put any old speaker in there because it might not match the other speaker. Emails can get sucked up in spam filters.
