Mautopitch by Melda productions?
Is this thing any good? I know it isn't melodyne or autotune, but does anyone use it? How would you bounce down to an audio track? Do you have to do it in real time somehow? I saw a windows 7 download site were it looks like you can download just Mautopitch without having to download the whole free bundle. Melodyne is in my future, but things sure get cheap around Christmas.

It works just like any effect in the FX bin. I would be leery of downloading it from anywhere but the vendors site. Who knows, you might like the rest of the bundle. If you don't, throw them away.

It's only available as part of the bundle ... which web site did you see it on as an individual VST? I use it and like it a lot. It's a simple VST ... you throw it in an FX bin and that's it. You can do special effects with it, or use it as a general auto-tuner for anything ... vocals, lead guitar, bass ... anything mono with a single single note. You have to install the entire bundle, but you don't have to use it all. When you set it up in your Plug-In Manager, just select the ones you want to use. They are all in a directory as .DLL's, so if you're worried about space, you could delete the ones you don't use. I use almost everything in the bundle. The EQ and Compressor are my go-to's now. The EQ has a built in Spectrum analyzer ... extremely handy to have that right on the EQ. Plus it has an audio analyzer better than Voxengo's SPAN IMO. You can license the free bundle for around $40 bucks as well. It unlocks a Sonogram, let's you resize the VST window, and allows you to save custom presets. It's VST3 compatible and 64bit. Free .... http://www.windows7download.com/win7-mautopitch/tjhqonhw.html That's one site I saw. I really see no harm in getting all of them, I just probably wouldn't use them all. I don't need anything to drastic. I would like to have Melodyne, but I'm going to try and cut back for awhile Hahaha! So just put it in the fx bin, get it tweaked the way I want and then I can bounce the track or export the wav.? My old way of thinking is wanting to make things harder than that. Thanks, I'll download and give it a try.

That's the whole bundle even thought it says it's just the Auto Tune. It says the download is 23MB and that's for the entire bundle.

I would just freeze the track, that way you can undo it with a click. But bouncing works too.

Ok, thanks Bub. Is it the compressor and eq in the free bundle that you like or the other ones in the mixing and mastering bundles? I'm pretty good on compressors and limiters, but hey, you can never have to many.

I like the EQ and Compressor in the Free Bundle. You can free form the line on the Compressor ... comes in real handy. I love the Dynamic EQ in the Total Bundle ... but I can't afford it right now. It completely changed how I do things. There's other Dynamic EQ's out there ... but man, their Total Bundle is such a great deal. Free upgrades and updates for life. If they ever add a new VST ... you get it for free. It's a much better value than Ozone in my opinion. Ozone is really nice, don't get me wrong, and it's laid out in a nice package and well thought out ... but Melda's stuff is just a better value money wise, and you can't touch the fact that if you buy the Total Bundle ... you get everything free going forward, even new stuff they add. That's unbeatable IMO.
