MaxB & Annique - Though You're gone - video

I have met a girl who has a magic voice and she likes to collaborate with me! That makes me feel good!

I made a simpel thing with my guitar and then she wrote some lyrics and found a melody and rytm, that I like a lot.
I think this track is as ready as it can be (no more instruments needed I think) but in the mix I've made, I find the voice harsh. I've used eq a little and compressor 2:1.
My question is about the leadsongtrack - should I lower the volume, change eq och compressor to make the song work at high volumes without hurting my ears? Or is it okay the way it is now? I can only listen in headphones and I have used different ones, in some the song fits better.

Please accept the nonsync in the beginning of the video (where I play guitar), I'm no pro at videos but like to try things out.

How can I put a youtube-link here? It disappeared when I "Saved changes"...
I try "code" to see if it stays...

No piece of advice have been given?
Guess it's okay the way it is then?
    Thanks anyway!

Max, This was a very well done video, song arrangement and Annique did an awesome job on the vocals. I really did enjoy this and thanks for sharing this special moment with the forum. Hope things work out for the two of you as you sound great together.

    Peace and blessings.

PS You should be able to get a link for your videos right on YouTube. The other part is posting it into the forum which someone else might be able to help you with. I think you need some type of code, but I don't know what it is. Most forums are the same.

This sounds very pleasant here and Annique does sing very sweetly.

    Thanks for sharing

Thanks Theguitarplayer and Wookiee. Yea, her voice is great and it has some kind of magic, to it.
I try to understand what the magic consists of but have not found out yet.
You have no problem with harsh sound on the leadvocals, I presume then?

Perhaps a little forward in places but it is your song after all, is the vocalist happy with it?

Wookie she is satisfied with it and I am to. She has a lot of freedom to do what she feels is right and after five vocalrecordings on a row I can tell that she is on spot, on every recording the vocals comes pretty much at the same time.
    Lynn thanks!
Copy paste did'nt work for some reason but I try again next time.
    Bless!
