Maybe...

since I really don't care to post upstairs about this
that somebody here may give it a go...
 
In X3 I have about 40 bars looped.
3 tracks of GR5- recorded parts.
1 track of GR5 to play live
1 track of EZDrummer.
 
After multiple times through the latency of the "live" GR5 becomes bad so I
have to shutdown X3 and restart it to get it back.
 
The only "thing" I can think of that may be behind the issue is that the midi drum
part does have two different "feels". 4/4 rock  and 4/4 rock with 6/8 feel.
Turning off GR5 on the other tracks made no change.
 
Working out guitar parts I'll let it loop for many times...so if you do check it will take
probably 5+ times through....and thanks.

    Not much help but someone upstairs reported a similar problem with looped midi drums.

    I did look to see if others had experienced it but didn't find anything.
     
    You've answered my real question though. Something is goin on and
