Maybe off Topic Scarlett 18i20 won't let me select ADAT drivers (SOLVED!!!)

Here's the scenario...
I just got a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. I got it 'cause I had bought a Roland Quad-Capture a couple of years ago (Just before Sonar moved on to X2, if I remember right) and installed the copy of Sonar X1 LE that came with it on my laptop. My plan went something like, "I can 'mobile' record band members who would have hard time getting to my place to record." This was brought about by a keyboard player who wanted to record his B3 but didn't want to haul it over here. So I got the Quad-Capture, then I realized that to properly record a B3, you need 3 inputs (One on each side of the Lesley and one at the base) so right outta the hatch, the Quad-Capture was 'less' then what I needed.
So, since then, I've turned down a few live recording inquiries. Don't have enough I/O's to record a live band. Now one of my big customers are getting ready to play what may be their last show and I thought I could upgrade that Quad-Capture in a big way and record the show.
So I found a Scarlett on ebay and planned on hanging one of my MOTU 2408 mk3 off of the ADAT of the Scarlett. I've got the 2408 to pass audio through the ADAT port and it shows up in the Preferences\Audio\Devices. But when I check one of the ADAT ports (Seen as 'Focusrite USB 2.0 audio driver ADAT 1, 3, 5, and 7) and click apply, the screen disappears for a second but when it comes back, the driver is unchecked.
I've tried changing the source settings on the front panel of the 2408 and the clock settings, each time trying to save the checked drivers in the devices in Sonar but each time it will uncheck. I've tried putting the mixControl in ADAT mode and try running the 2408 in Int mode, the otherway around. I didn't think this would happen. I'm running my main studio DAW (With Sonar Platinum) using a 2408 and hanging an Apogee Rosetta off the ADAT port and it works just fine.
I don't know where the disconnect is occurring, any ideas?
