Mbox 2 & Pro Tools 9

Although I mainly use Sonar X1 at home.....I need to upgrade my Pro Tools setup for compatibility reasons (for a studio that I'm a part of in Nashville).....I had Pro Tools 7.3 (M Powered), but it doesn't work with Windows 7......MF seems to have an incredible deal with ab Mbox 2 and Pro Tools 9 LE for $488.....if I upgrade my m powered pro tools to 9, it would cost $349......is getting an Mbox 2 worth the extra $? I need a usb interface anyway, I just don't like the fact that the usb is at 1.1 and not 2.
Not sure how many tracks you can play back with 1.1
Although with 9 you can get up to 48 tracks

    if you need a usb soundcard then I'm sure the mbox 2 is a capable unit.  the only problem might be compatibility with sonar.  I know that some people use them with sonar, but I also know that sometimes the drivers can be "finicky" in windows and with sonar.
