McDSP v6.3 playback issues

I purchased my first ilok (3rd GEN) yesterday so I could try the McDSP plugins.
 
Finished a mix today for a customer and after he left I thought it would be a good test to replace some of the EQ's with the McDSP filter bank EQ for comparison.
 
I started with the F202 which is a high and low pass filter, and every once in a while I get pauses/skips in the music even if the track with the plugin was not putting out any audio.
 
Disable McDSP plugin, no issues.
 
The only software I am running that requires a ilok is SoundToys but I use the ilok software manager and store the licenses on the hard drive so no need for a physical ilok.
 
Anyone have any thoughts?
