MeldaProduction Bundles (best way to buy them)

This is more of an FYI for folks. During the recent flash sale (50% off everything), I didn't realize until I added a bundle to my cart while signed in that they give you credit for things already purchased (seemed like 80% but didn't check). I know that the subscription does not count toward things, but nitpicking at the weekly 50% off deals does, so this may be a good method for folks to keep in mind. The actual cost of a bundle is less than its constituent parts, so if you have enough 50% off components racked up, it would significantly reduce a bundle purchase.
 
Also bear in mind that the 50% off everything was a one-day sale... I do not know how often that occurs (is this an annual thing?), but wanted to let folks know that buying things piecemeal contributes to the bundle deals. It is not often to get surprised in good ways.

I did an informal calculation when the Melda subscription option first became available.  Buying the subscription and fully paying it off over time costs *way* more than buying the everything bundle in a 50% off sale (which happens several times a year) and financing the purchase on an exorbitant credit card interest rate (18 to 20%) with the same monthly payment amounts.  You will fully own it much faster using the credit card route.
 
The only downside is that with the subscription you can change your mind.

I am just constantly amazed at the quality of Melda's stuff. They are without a doubt some of the best out there. And I never really thought that the Multi-Band feature of a lot of their plugs was really that much a feature, but more of a gimmick. Man was I wrong. This is one of the features that set them apart.

+1, I will admit that early on the GUI of the Melda plugs turned me off, but once you delve into them a bit you get the realization not to judge books by their covers (that should be an adage or something). Their multi-band processing is rather impressive, which is offered on many plugs. I think I have gravitated over time to plugs that will save an entire signal chain because you know they will all work in synergy, only require one insertion, and will work in any DAW (that will host them).
 
Black Friday is another "50% off everything," so it appears that they may occur more frequently in the future. I am still impressed that they give you credit for things already purchased... that type of business is so rare these days.
