After listening to this song I had to replay it because I'd forgotten what I'd been listening to. But seriously, it has a nice beat and a dark melody, however, it repeats the same riff over and over. I would suggest that you add another element or two to maintain interest, or shorten it a bit. Some of us have to listen to this straight. Overall, a good mix.

I love the voice overs from the old narations. This beat is great and I can see a good rapper taking this to the next level. Great mix as well!

@Lynn -- yeah, definitely repetitive on this one, but at the same time it's just kinda easy to get lost into haha, definitely wanna try to throw in a little something extra -- maybe I'll come in with a new element for the entire second section that's after the P.S.A. to kinda make it two separate distinct parts --thanks for the feed!! @BigJGTR - definitely man! good to hear the positive feed! thanks!

The voice over is very clean. It sits well within the mix.
I also like the contrast of the older male narrator and the younger female voice.
Drop back to the 70s and a harmonized, soulful vocal would be nice to add. Reminiscent of the Brothers Johnson.

While I appreciate the new rap beat stuff is cool to some.....
If..... I was planning to "chill out" and vegitate..... some good Strawberry Alarm Clock or Jimi Hendrix
would be more in order.... or Neil Young.

Well I am all for Marijuana legalization and have been arested for protesting on university grounds for such a move.
Ok the news snippits are funny, the brain is for thinkning not fumigating, what a crack and it's just subjective ****, some peoples brains actually move too fast and pot can help those people. I am one of these pepole, then it can also help with agression, if they trialled the use of pot in prisons, I think we would see a dramatic reduction of violent crimes in prisons and if they were allowed to continue the use once they are released, I believe there would be less reofending.
On the flip side I have seen a few friends lose the plot and have a drug induced pyschosis but from my analysis each of these people had underling issues, such as guilt or a lack of parental control.
The song for me doesn't do the topic justice in fact the repetitive nature of the track suggest that this is what happens under the influence of pot.
I learnt a new word today prosody and I think this is what the song is missing.
Sounds good though, the mix is full and warm.

From a purely sonic perspective, excellent job on the mix. It is loud, punchy and highs to lows are right on in my cans. Yes, too repetitive for multi-listens but you have some good chops for arrangement and mixing. Add three parts to a song next time.
