[Implemented] Recognize Melodyne 4 Studio's detected tempo map in Sonar Platinum

I would like to request that Melodyne 4 Studio's detected tempo map be recognized from within Sonar Platinum itself.

Here is my original thread on the subject:
http://forum.cakewalk.com/Question-about-tempo-in-Sonar-and-Melodyne-4-YES-Workaround-suggested-by-briandhughes-m3353328.aspx

At present, it seems we have to record in the stand-alone version of Melodyne 4, then export the midi and import it into Sonar, then do the same for the wav file. We (the participants in the cited thread) were hoping that, because of Sonar's ARA integration, it might not be too difficult to eliminate having to go through those steps, and instead be able to do everything from within Sonar.

Thank you for your consideration,
LJ

Voted.  Granted, it requires the investment in Studio to get the new Tempo Mapping feature in the first place, but for anyone who does this type of thing on a semi-regular basis it could be really convenient.

That said, I think this might require changes in how SONAR stores/presents tempo data (there are existing FR threads for that) based on the way that other ARA enabled DAW works:

There are also apparently some restrictions between the ARA and standalone versions of MD:

The threads you linked to, SteveC, make for very interesting reading. Here's hoping that everything will be smoothed out soon, and that Sonar will be able to take advantage of all that is ironed out by them now!

Just wanted to add my name to the list of people who want this.  To me it's the holy grail of recording live and then editing later with original tempo mapped.

Really nice is that ARA integration of Presonus Studio One and it seems this is one step further as Sonar.
Check out this video on how S3 can adapt Melodyne's tempo to daw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQlaP3cIJAs
And btw, tempo map feature is available in Melodyne Editor edition too.
