Melodyne 4 Upgrade

Hello!
 
Sonar X3 Studio user.
 
I recently received an email from Celemony informing me that I'm entitled to a free Melodyne 4 upgrade,  I'd like to take advantage of this but my problem is that years ago, long before I purchased Sonar, I bought a standalone version of Melodyne Essentials and as a result I have 2 licenses-One for the independently purchased and one for the version that came with Sonar.  I prefer to use the version that came with Sonar when I use Sonar.  My question is, is this upgrade for the Melodyne in Sonar or for the earlier version I bought separately?  Or perhaps both?
