Only for full versions. Not for the version in Sonar. At least I think so.

I logged in on Celemony's site and don't see an update. Then I opened Melodyne and clicked on check for updates. It says I have the latest version. Michael

I logged into my account at Celemony and could not see any version number referenced anywhere on the page. I did create a download file. It was 4.04.004 which is newer than what I had installed, 4.04.001. I do not believe the update checker reports the point releases.
Since there is only one set files used for all flavors of Melodyne 4, this update should be available at everyone's Celemony account.

Same here. And it's downloading as slow as mud.

OK briefly not been able to use Melodyne after upgrading to 4 - I have the studio version. Immediately I inserted Melodyne as a region FX it would crash my system - tried numerous things nothing worked (and apparently Melodyne were aware of this bug / fault) so have been waiting for this latest update.
Downloaded, installed exactly the same problem.
Uninstalled, went through everything and deleted everything I could find re Melodyne, re-installed again, still the same.
Anyone else got this issue??

Not here, Nigel. It's been fine, since I upgraded to 4 Studio and is again/still, yesterday, after the 4.04.004 update.
Hope it gets sussed out quickly, though!

I have no idea if this release contains the fix for SONAR. May want to let Celemony know the problem (or something like it) still exists.

This update is most certainly relevent for Essentsials. I download and updated no problem but does anyone have any idea what the .004 update entails.
I am running it inside Studio One as well. I see there is a proper manual download now for Essentials 4.

I'm using assistant and when I check for an update from within Melodyne, it indicates that .001 is the latest version. I think I'll stay put until I get more info on the .004 update.

I've had numerous issues too up until now. I've downloaded 4.04.004, I'm on studio 4, installed, and just spent the last 10mins trying to make break it, unsuccessfully. I opened three acoustic guitar tracks, main vox, backing vox, cutting the main vox into 20 regions. That's 5 full tracks, with 20 regions open in the main vox, a total of 24 regions open at the same time, all able to be edited, and it was working at a speed it has never worked for me before, let alone more than one region open, which I havn't been able to do all year.
So, for me it's not just fixed, it's on fire, and I sure hope it stays that way.
So, there must still be individual problems that have something to do with system or hardware. I hope everyone get's it sorted. Been very frustrating.
now, back to work..

Thanks for this - good to know its fixed on your system especially as you have Studio as well - now I can look at other settings / drivers on mine - before no one quite knew, especially as my crash was so immediately as soon as I inserted Melodyne, if it was Melodyne issue or system settings specific etc.

Sonar (all versions up to and including Platinum) has been one of the most stable pieces of software I have ever used. Sonar Platinum is still very stable unless I use Melodyne (essential version). With Melodyne v 4 I have had numerous crashes and lost work :( I had Melodyne 4.04.001 installed and it didn't detect any updates automatically. So I went to the Celemony website and boy do they make it hard to find what the latest sub-version of Melodyne is. In the end I had to download it to find that it was version 4.04.004. I still get major crashes with this version especially when I am using Antares Harmony Evo in the same project. N.B. I can use Harmony Evo all day long in Sonar without any issues. I have taken to working in Melodyne outside of Sonar and then importing the wav files produced into my Sonar project. EDIT: Scrap that I have just had Melodyne crash running standalone as well :(
