Melodyne Tracking While Looping?

Hi
I am using the latest Sonar Plat update and Melodyne Editor.

When I loop a section to try to fix bits, Melodyne is not tracking the looping.  ie:  Say I have measures 1-4 recorded, I transfer to Melodyne... Then I start to loop Sonar between measures 1-4, Melodyne's time thingy goes off to infinity and beyond.  It continues to 5-6-7-etc.

What do I need to set to make them track together?  I have searched the forum and I bought the Sonar Hot Tips thingy by Craig Anderton, but I cannot find the setting.

Sorry if this has been asked and solved 1000 times before.  Maybe I am searching wrong.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Try using Melodyne as a Region FX instead of in the FX rack.

    Thanks
I am still not there.  Looks like I need vst3.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Melodyne 4 Editor and I do not see the option to install the vst 3.  I went to celemony's website to see what gives and it looks like i should see it under programs, but I do not.  arghhhhh

Thanks in advance for your help (or anyone else)

I thought the VST3 was installed by default. You would have had to deselect it for it not to be installed. By default Cakewalk adds "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" to the scan path. Is the path correct in Preferences > File > VST Settings? The default location for Melodyne.vst3 is "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Celemony\Melodyne"
