Melodyne Troubles

I'm having a bit of a problem with melodyne.  Whenever I go to "create region effect" on a vocal track melodyne translates all sung notes as exactly the same (the blobs appear in a straight line) and, rather than show musical tones (like it normally does), melodyne now shows numbers (with zero in the middle.)  Any thoughts on what the problem is?

Thanks for the help.

Could be you need to check which algorithm was used. Sounds like percussion. Melodic would be the one for a vocal track... sometimes it just reads wrong.

Sonar Platinum , ADK Computer -Intel - Penryn Quad Core Q9400 Processor, Windows 7 Home premium 64, RME Fireface UFX, Grace 101 Pre's, A-800 Pro, assorted mics, Strats ,Les Pauls, Mesa Boogies

Well, I just closed out of Sonar, opened it again, and did a new insert region effects...now everything is fine.  Weird!  Anyway, thanks for the help! If happens again I'll try to change from from percussive to melodic.

Ive had it do this to me a few times even when it's on Melodic, and closing out and going back in has cleared it.
